My first Sigma brushes!

Hello! Long time no blog! How are you all? Sorry for being MIA :(

I have always wanted to try Sigma brushes but the shipping fee always makes my heart ache. Last year's birthday, my loveliest friend, Violet, from the States asked me what I wanted and I immediately think of Sigma brushes!

When they arrived, I fell in love like a girl with her first lolly! She gave me four face brushes and two eye brushes. They are F86, F50, F05, F35, E45 and E65.

I'm too lucky! Thanks baby V! <3

I couldn't wait to wash them and use them stat, but I know I had to take photos of them first so I can share with all of you! :)

This egg-shaped brush actually reminds me of the beauty blender. I have been using this for foundation only but I've heard it can be used to apply bronzer, blush and highlighter as well. This brush makes blending as easy as ABC. I also love that it can reach small areas like around my nose and eyes. However, as this brush is very dense, it does take longer time to dry.

I actually haven't tried this brush yet because I recently just purchased the MAC 187 which is very very similar. So I can't say much about it yet, but I believe it works the same as my MAC one, which I use to apply liquid foundation. The biggest difference would probably be the price.

I have finally found a contour brush that I am satisfied with! I really love contouring but I'm not very good at it, so having a good brush would help me a lot. The size of the brush is perfect and it doesn't pick up too much product at a time, which I like so I won't pack on too much bronzer on my face and look like a clown.

Another brush that makes me scream "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE???" ok, maybe not that dramatic but you guys know what I mean. I use the side part of the brush for my cheekbones and the tapered part for the bridge of my nose. When I first used it, I was so amazed how my highlighter was applied. It was like boom! right on the target! I never actually used a brush just for highlighting, so the product is always all over the place when I apply it. Now I finally realised how important a brush is!

This brush is great for applying eyeshadow on the crease and blending it. My eyelids are not very big (typical asian lids), so I need a smaller brush for them. My go-to blending brush has always been my MAC 217, but I do find it can be hard if I want to achieve a more of a cut crease look, but now that I have this brush, I can do it easier. I still love my MAC 217 though!

Timing is everything! I've just lost my MAC 266 brush when I was doing my makeup in a bus *insert sad face* and here it is, another brush came to the rescue. This brush is great for filling in eyebrows (which I prefer) and applying gel eyeliner. It is narrower in terms of width than MAC 266, but it does the job and I have no much to complain.

All of these Sigma brushes are so soft and do their jobs perfectly. I would definitely want more of them, just wish they can be sold in Australia. But before that wish come true, you guys can check them out at their website. They have tons of choices and collections to choose from.

Enjoy the rest of the week, my lovelies!
